About Us
ProSolution Group Pty Ltd (ABN 54 096 725 370) trading as ProSolution Private Office. Australian Credit Licence Number: 238449
We are licensed to provide credit assistance services, including:
- recommending loan products
- assisting you to apply for a loan
- acting as your intermediary with lenders
What We Do
We act as a mortgage broker. This means we:
- assess your financial situation and borrowing needs
- recommend suitable loan products from our lender panel
- assist you through the application and approval process
We have access to a panel of more than 30 lenders, including major banks, non-bank lenders, and specialist providers.
Our Lender Panel
Our panel includes a wide range of lenders. Based on recent volumes, our most commonly used lenders include:
- Westpac
- Commonwealth Bank
- ANZ
- AMP
- Firstmac
- ING
We are not restricted to these lenders and will consider a broad range of options when making a recommendation.
Best Interests Duty
When providing credit assistance, we are required to act in your best interests.
In practice, this means we:
- assess your financial situation, objectives and requirements
- consider a range of suitable loan options from our panel
- recommend a loan that is appropriate for your needs
- prioritise your interests over our own
Fees Payable by You
In most cases, we do not charge a fee for our services, as we are paid by the lender.
However, fees may apply in the following circumstances:
a) If your loan application is approved as requested, but you decide not to proceed
Fee: $550 (including GST), payable within 7 days of withdrawing the application
b) If we assist you with a loan of $100,000 or less, where lender commissions are not payable, we may have to charge you a fee.
c) If you discharge your loan within 24 months of settlement and the lender claws back all or part of our commission. Fee: equal to the amount clawed back by the lender, payable within 7 days of the clawback occurring
These fees reflect the work undertaken on your behalf in arranging and managing your loan.
Commissions and Benefits
We receive commissions from lenders when your loan settles.
These commissions are paid by the lender and do not increase the cost of your loan.
Typical commission ranges are:
- Upfront commission: 0.40% to 0.715% of the loan amount (plus GST)
- Ongoing (trail) commission: 0.15% to 0.25% per annum of the loan balance (plus GST)
We do not receive volume-based bonuses or campaign incentives.
We do not pay or receive referral fees to or from third parties.
Preliminary Assessment
Before recommending a loan, we will make a preliminary assessment about whether the credit contract is suitable for you.
You have the right to request a copy of this assessment:
- before entering into the loan, or
- within 7 years after the credit assistance is provided
